I
started painting when my husband and I moved to the Pacific Northwest from
the
Mississippi Delta region. While living in Memphis and Mississippi I became
a Delta Blues photographer and
when we moved to Seattle I lost my Southern Blues
inspiration of juke
joints, cotton fields and bluesmen... So I turned to my paints
and created a world of my own...

My landscapes
are inspired by the many places I have lived so far, from the Deep South to New England, across the country to the Pacific
Northwest and many stops in-between. I wander often and enjoy it always.
