I was driving from Memphis to Clarksdale with my two dogs Layla and Tupelo to drop of a fresh batch of photographs at Cat Head. When we arrived, Michael Powers and his band was performing on the front porch of the Delta Blues and Folk Art shop. I leashed my dogs to the porch and started photographing this happy coincidence. Luckily I always carried my camera with me, no matter where I went! Michael Powers is from New York City and makes trips to the Delta on an annual basis...
