Something I love to capture, even with my new Jazz project, is a teacher with his/her students. Maybe it's because I am a certified art teacher as well and, even more, that I come from a long line of teachers but seeing people who love what they do enough to pass it on to a younger generation is so beautiful to me.

 This festival was a beautiful day, my husband and I had our two dogs with us, Layla and Tupelo... The elementary band was first up and then Big T Williams was to play... my husband, Djerek, immediately flipped for Big T but unfortuantely the day was cut very short but an electrical storm. Everyone quickly left the stage and sat in their cars hoping for a break in the storm... after about 45 mins I saw many people giving up and driving away, sadly. But what a wonderful hour we had!
